OK I set the horde_dir to /var/www/html/horde and it is shown by "pear
config-show" but do I have to run another command or do anything else
after that?  Horde still works, but still doesnt detect the correct
app versions.  FYI I have checked before doing this and pear is indeed
version 1.10.5 (pear.php.net/PEAR-1.10.5).

If I decide to start over, how can I recycle the OS ? In other words,
what would be the procedure (rough) to restart?  Delete the
/var/www/html/horde folder?  Delete something else?  Uninstall pear or
run a pear uninstall package command?

Thanks, and I appreciate your patience, I recognizze that it must be
difficult to support begineers like me so I appreciate your efforts!!
