Jan, 

All the system is on the same server. Do you have an idea of how to trace the communication between Horde and the Dovecot/Sieve server. 
I am using Imap for the communication between Horde and Dovecot, and it is working fine. 
I am a little bit lost on how the communication between Horde/Sieve is not working. Am I missing a Horde component ? Or a PHP module that allow this communication ?
