I'm assuming you used one of the groupware bundles when installing via
PEAR? These only install a specific set of applications, like Mail,
Contacts, Calendar etc... As you noticed, you can install other
applications into your existing groupware install if desired.
Horde has had a lot of other applications developed for it over the
years, some have died a slow death along the way, while others have
just lived in a state of constant development. Only applications that
have been released as stable are installable via PEAR. You can see the
list of current applications/libraries available in PEAR with:
pear list-all -c horde
If you want one of the packages that have not been released you would
either need to install it from Git or, if you want it all managed from
PEAR, create your own PEAR package for it (we have tools for this in
the git-tools repository).
That being said, of the list you posted below, the only apps that are
really in a working state that I know of are the time tracking
application, Hermes and the News app, Jonah (which is *very* bare
bones at the moment). Vilma, Sam, and Sesha might be working, but I'm
not familiar with those. I have no idea what the "Kolab" application
is that you have listed. We don't have a specific app for Kolab, but
rather configure Horde to connect to it. Could be that it's reading
some entry in the registry.php file that was added there? Anyway,
there *is* a kolab edition of our groupware bundle in Git, but it has
never been released and I'm unsure of it's state at the moment. Even
that is just our normal groupware applications with some sane
preconfigured defaults.
