A bit late, but maybe someone else needs encouragement - this is
exactly what I did.

- backup the MySQL DB.
- install MariaDB, import the horde5 DB, and convert it (something
with the character set)
- point the H6 install to the DB and run the database update script.

I have an issue with some phantom reminders, but I have reason to
believe I caused that and would have had the problem even if I
remained with MySQL.
