[horde] Kronolith problem

Hi Ruud,

this needs a bit of thinking from my side: How do we handle/degrade if we
don't have a geo driver. We already implemented a do-nothing geodriver but
I think we never properly hooked it up.

May take a little longer than the usual bug fixes.
