Hello,
as we have been relatively quiet over the last two weeks, here's a recap
We are in the middle of Release Candidate phase, the last stage before a
release.
Work is focused on "must have" fixes for issues which prevent a viable H6.0
product.
We spend very little time on updating the website or social media.
What is included?
- Get rid of strftime based date and time formatting because it's
deprecated and causes a lot of trouble
- Adress any qualified feedback on activesync and caldav/carddav issues,
including Thunderbird integration
- Refactoring any remaining usage of the legacy Horde controllers in favor
of PSR compliant horde/http_server.
- JWT, cookie and security related topics
So far we are on track. Since the weekend we merged many changes adressing
icons being too large and the strftime issue. In case you see anything
related to dates being displayed in the wrong style or fields like
birthday, anniversary, due date not working, please send details.
The current target for stable release is in early june 2026.
