[i18n] Translating a new module...

Hello to everyone!

I'm having some problems translating a self-written module (which is not
part of Horde).

At the moment, I'm using english as the default language for any text
output, without bothering about anything like gettext, etc.

Now, I have to provide at least one more language (german in my case), but I
dont know how to start at that point.

Can somebody please have the patience to give me a short overview of what I
have to change in my module to be able to create a translation?
