The process of translation won't be very different from doing it from
cvs head, if you just extract ja_JP.po files from imp-jp distribution
and use it as a replacement of cvs ja_JP.po files, the amount of your
additional translation/adjustment effort would be much smaller if you
use more upto date translations.

For your convenience, I gathered only ja_JP.po files for horde, imp
and turba from imp-jp downloads (that are only available applications
at imp-jp), and stored at the following location.

   http://www.ml-search.com/horde/horde/imp-jp-ja_JPs.tar.gz

$ tar tvzf imp-jp-ja_JPs.tar.gz
-rw-rw-r-- tm/None   19882 2003-02-27 16:06:27 horde-2.2.1-jp-0.2/po/ja_JP.po
-rw-rw-r-- tm/None   44547 2003-03-22 04:17:08 imp-3.2.1-jp-0.1/po/ja_JP.po
-rw-rw-r-- tm/None    9178 2003-02-27 16:12:20 turba-1.2-jp-0.2/po/ja_JP.po

There maybe other translated documentation in imp-jp distributions
that may be worth checking. Although imp-jp ones are independent
version, there should be a lot of reusable pieces, it worth exploring
in my opinion.

Takeshi
