Why not just upgrade sendmail, probably alot easier and you
will be sure to have the latest (which is always the best in
this case) sendmail

Are you aware that any linux kernel prior to 2.2.16 has security hole in it
which can be accessed through sendmail? I recommend you upgrade your kernel
if you are using sendmail. Please read:
