[imp] php imap problem

s4# ls -l *client*
-rw-r--r--   1 root     other    1807448 Oct 31 16:59 c-client.a
-rw-r--r--   1 root     other    1807448 Oct 31 13:28 libc-client.a

I copied c-client.a to libc-client.a originally, then, made another copy
called c-client.a when it wasn't working.

I'll try the newer packages, although I don't think it will remedy the
problem I am currrently experiencing. (But there is no point in installing
anything that is behind the stable verion.)
