"Application/octet-stream" means "Some sort of non-text
attachment". The problem is that the sender's mail program didn't
identify the attachment. Since IMP doesn't know what it is, you can't
view it; you'd have to download it first and let your computer's
figure-out-this-filetype mechanisms do their thing.
Although, hrm.
I think I'm going to see what mod_mime_magic does with that. :-)
