imp 2.2.3 question

I've recently upgraded from 2.0.x to 2.2.3 and the natives have one
complaint so far.  I'm using minimum_popups, and when someone replies to a
message and then clicks on the "Go back to inbox" link, they're taken back
to the beginning of their inbox rather than to the message or page in
their inbox they were on before the reply.  Looking at the code, there
doesn't seem to be a config option to have this link return to their
previous place in the inbox.  Has anyone hacked this into IMP?
