PASSWORD RELOADED; failed

I'm trying to set up IMP on my system. I'm now using the newest
snapshot (see attached test.php).

I'm trying to log in with http://server/horde/imp/

The IMAP server is a UW and works. With

# telnet localhost imap

I get the following syslog entry.

Nov 27 00:34:10 server imapd[18019]: imap service init from 127.0.0.1

But when I try to log in with IMP the only syslog I get is:

Nov 27 00:36:36 server IMP[12417]: PASSWORD RELOADED 192.168.0.1 to server:143[imap] as stest
Nov 27 00:36:37 server IMP[12416]: 192.168.0.1 failed

I get no entry for the IMAP server (which is on the same machine).

I read all the documentation (I found).

It's a little bit hard to find the error because I had to set up
apache, php, mysql, horde, imp, openldap...

- Apache works.
- php works.
- mysql is set up according to the howto which is included in the
  cvs-snapshot.

Does someone have an idea what the problem could be?

Another question: PHP is installed under /opt/php4-cvs but the
configfile is read from /usr/local/lib ...?
