	IMP doesn't; this is the job of your IMAP server.

	Well, all this function does by default is send an e-mail to a specific
address with all the information that was entered on the signup form. 
If you want it to do more, you'd need to write the code to do that
(consistent with however your IMAP server wants users and mailboxes to
appear).
