[imp] Empty message sent

Well I am getting kinda fustrated now..I decided to go with the CVS
version just too see if that would work..well same thing(2.3.6 is
much nicer!)
If I go in and hard code the $message in compose.php say at line# 611
in the "case SEND_MESSAGE:" area, then I get my hard coded value sent.
But without hard coding the variable, somewhere, somehow the $message
get set to "0".
Is there anything else I can/should try to do to trouble shoot this??

Yes - figure out at exactly which step it gets set to "0".
