Inbox-Layout with hidden deleted messages

Hi List,
just experienced the following:
Local IMP-Setup is within frames, defaulted setup is "hide deleted" with
15 messages shown on each page.
but, with this "hide deleted", the current page only shows
(max_messages_per_page - hidden_deleted) messages.
for example, if you have 10 deleted messages on a page, your current
page will show only the remaining 5 messages on this page.
would it be possible to habe IMP showing 15 messages per page in every
case, not depending on any deleted messages ? as imp does output only an
IMAP-point-of-view, this could be done with an abstraction-layer,
buffering and preparing the output, i think.
so, this hide-deleted could perfectly act as a "trash"-feature, as
obviously planned, without any interaction to the current shown
page/items/no of messages.
RfC !

2.3 already does this. It won't be backported to 2.2 because it uses a feature
that I added to imap_sort() as of php 4.0.4-dev.

Versions? (do you mean 1.2/2.2 cvs, or 1.3/2.3 cvs, php version, etc...)
