That sounds like a matter of your mail server, not of IMP. From exim,
I get a log entry for both; I could make it so that I get a log entry
for neither, or for one or the other. In any case, it's not in IMP,
it's in the c-client IMAP libraries.
I'll fix the FAQ entries.
