[imp] the screen (frame) of logon stays white

Roberto,
  Create a file in your web root called test.php3 (or .php if php v4)
Edit that file to contain:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Then browse to that page and you will see everything that is available in your 
compilation of php.
