[imp] Can't attach files.

That did not work for me...I was bale to fix the problem by setting 
upload_temp (in php.ini) to /var/tmp.  I read a post that explained that 
the file is saved in /var/tmp and then imp is trying to get the message 
from /tmp....that is why it can't find the file.
