Here is my configuration:

Horde 1.2.2 - IMP 2.2.3 - mysql 3.22.32 - apache 1.3.12 - php 4.0.

Web access to mail is obtained via an old POP3 server on a
different machine, i.e QPOP version 2.41 beta1 (yes, I know that
Qualcomm strongly encourage to upgrade to the current release,
but our old 486 with sendmail and QPOP is perfectly working since
1995 without any kind of interruption, and furthermore security is
not so important to us...).

Installation following your notes and FAQ was straightforward since
the first time.

At present, anyone can access his own mailbox
(read/delete/compose...) only if it contains no more than 20
messages, regardless of their size. Trying to access a mailbox
with 21 messages results in the generic error 'Document contains
no data', and in an entry in error_log of this kind:

Have you ever heard of a behaviour like that?

Is there any kind of hope that we can keep on using QPOP?
Have you ever obtained positive feed back from more recent
versions of QPOP?

Should we perhaps upgrade to an IMAP server?

It'is not so simple to keep the users of our Department satisfied
with a mailbox of no more than 20 messages...

What is your opinion?

Thank you for your unvailable support.
