Help ! Erros to Attach files .exe, .zip ...

I finally finished the installation of  IMP and the conclusion is that IMP
is a fantastic program !
Thank you for everything you are doing !  It must be a hard work !

Everythigs is working good except for a strange fact that happen when I try
to attach some kind of files to message. In fact, when attach files ended by
.exe, .zip, .tar, .gz  I have erros,  but for files ended by .doc, .txt,
.html, .gif  there is no problem.
Who can explain how it happen ? Who can help me, please ? It is going to
make me crazy !! I am using  Freebsd 4.1.1,  PHP 4.0.2, IMP 2.2.3 and IMAP
