Ah, this probably wasn't stated anywhere except the dev@horde.org
archives, but you need to have the latest copy of PEAR for IMP-2.3.6
to work.  If you checkout PHP4 from CVS, run './buildconf', cd to 
the 'pear' directory and type in 'make install', that should sort
everything out.
