We have a little over 6000 customers on our mail server that have access/use
the webmail interface. This is on a dual PII 400 with 256mb RAM. The webmail
interface is not really the issue. It is the IMAP server you decide to use.
We run both UW Imap and Courier Imap and can tell that the Courier IMAP is
more stable and uses quite a bit less resources.
