weird pop/imap problem

Hello,
I'm using IMP 2.3 to connect to my mailserver. My mailserver is built from qmail, and I use Maildir mailbox. I have both IMAP and POP servers installed to retrieve my mail, Courier-IMAP and qmail-pop3d respectively. I connect to both IMAP and POP alternately, just to test functionality of the folders and filters. It worked for a while, but now, everytime I specify to connect to the IMAP server (by selecting IMAP and port 143), it doesn't and instead connects to the POP server.
I can use it, but since it connected to the POP server I can't use folders. I've seen in /tmp/imp.log that when I select IMAP and the port to 143, it still connects to port 110, the POP server. I know that the IMAP server is still running (from ps ax|grep imap and when I telnet to mailhost 143 I get the IMAP prompt). Although this only seems to happen when using my test account. When I use another account and connect to the IMAP server, it connects to port 143 (the IMAP port). What could be the problem?
