[imp] configuring smtp again

I´ve seen in this message that it´s posible to configure IMP to use a SMTP
agent in another machine, but what version of horde should I use? Could I do
this with Horde 1.2.3 and IMP 2.2? How? I would like my webmail to connect
another machine which will be the relay of my installation...the one who is
going to send all the mail of the webmail users.
