No, you're just experiencing a bit of the bleeding edge. I moved the change 
password stuff to inside the preferences interface, and then re-wrote the prefs 
stuff, and haven't yet figured out where to stick the password stuff in the new 
interface. So it'll get fixed, and it's a known issue.
