[imp] problem creating a connection (IMAP/SSL)

I believe I grabbed the latest c-client.tar.gz file I could find.  It
untarred into a directory called imap-2000c.  How would I be able to confirm
IMAP/SSL support in this?

Are you sure that the c-client that php is compiled with supports IMAP/SSL?
