No message body being sent w/o attachment

Greetings,

I've just recently setup IMP 2.2.4 and Horde 1.2.4 on a machine running
FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE.  It seems that everything is working fine, except
for one little problem.  Whenever I try attempt to send email using this
interface, the mail is sent out without any of the body that I typed.
That is, unless I have attached a file to the email.

Here is the setup i have:

FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE (as mentioned above)
courier imap v1.3.2
postfix-20001121 (snapshot)
apache with mod_ssl version 1.3.19 and 2.8.1 respectively
php3 version 3.0.18 compiled as a module for apache

I hope that this little tidbit of information may help someone determine
what the problem I am having is.  If any more information is needed, please
ask, and I'll try to oblige.
