The best way to get a working php4 on redhat 6.2 is to get a SRC.RPM and
build it . Dont take RH7 php4.0.4pl3-1 its Buggy

Take a look at rpmfind. there you can find an php4.0.3 src.prm for rh7.

Now you had only to have a look on php.SPEC file and you get a perfect
version vor your system.
