mbx format

Hello,
This might be a bit off-topic but I am kinda desperate at this point. :)
I am using the standard unix mail object format.  I want to convert
these to 
mbx format.  I know of the utility to do so.  (mbxcvt) 

Has anyone ran into this before?  What I am looking for is a decent
script that goes through and converts 
everyone's mail objects to the mbx format.  I know it has to apply sed
at times to take care of stupid file names 
with spaces and such.
