french translation of 2.3.7-cvs

this question seems to have already been asked (a quick
search on MARC with "french translation" returned lots
of results, only two of them concerning recent versions
of IMP) : I would like to know whether a french translation
is already started for the cvs version of imp (this version
contains only german and spanish). If not, I would like to
know if I can start it, that's simple :-)
