[imp] seg fault - any news?

Hrm, I can't seem to get the workaround to work.  It still seg faults on
unread msgs. 
It does it rather quickly whether I pick a local server or a foreign pop
server.  Which should take a 
second to get back some results.  It immediately goes to seg fault.
