Problems...

I seem to have a problem with pop3 or something...
I tried another webmail reader (postaci). And I still get
the same problems as I had with imp. it looks like pop3 wont let me log in.
Here is what happens when I try to connect at local port 110:
+OK POP3 turp v7.64 server ready
user %jorgen
+OK User name accepted, password please
pass %fotball
-ERR Bad login
The password shown here is not my correct one, but I get the same message even
though I use my correct password.
What can be wrong? I think pop3 is screwed or something :)

Have you tried looking at your systems's logfiles?

As the warning tells you, IMP does use -f.

Testing IMAP or POP3 access using telnet does not require a login shell; it's
just testing the same access that you have from a mail client, and it is an
important troubleshooting step.
(Granted, if you use Kerberos or CRAM-MD5 auth or imap/ssl, logging in via
telnet isn't going to do you much good.)
