imp with ldap authentication

Hello,
I want to use ldap directories for my servers
authentication mechanism instead of /etc/passwd. I
found an article about this. However it is written for
imp 2.0.10 in which default.php3 is used. Accourding
to the article I should add the following lines in
defaults.php3 file. 

/*LDAP/IMAP Server Default */
$default->LDAP_server	='ldap.dom.ain';
$default->LDAP_dn	='o=someorg,c=US';
$default->LDAP_search_field	='uid';
$default->ldap_choose_server	=true;

Is there anybody knowing what should I insert instead
of the lines above in my conf.php  file (in the new
version of imp 2.3.7)
