I assume you are talking about the 2.3 branch?  The purpose is to
pretty-print certain MIME-types.  It's not restricted to enscript;
wordview and family will arrive as soon as someone writes a driver for
them (I'll probably do it this week)

No, you don't have to do anything except have it installed; Horde takes
care of all that.
