I have installed the imap-2000-3 and have configured it in /etc/services and
/etc/xinetd.d directory. Still i am unable to get through the login process
it says that ;

Either you have logged in incorrectly or
your login has expired. Please login again.

What does this mean?

Shall be waiting for the reply.
Thank you,
Abid Ghufran.

Dear All,

I am using php version 4, imap-2000-3,postgresql-7.0.2-17,
horde-1.2,imp-2.2, openldap-1.2.11-15,openssl-0.9.5a-14 and all other
required rpms. OF THESE openldap, openssl and imap are yet to be configured.

This is all on Linux RedHat 7 machine with Sendmail 8.11 and apache. I have
installed sendmail using the generice linux conf file. I can see the logon
prompt at the apache imp/horde webmail site. But cant access as the username
and passsword connectivity cant be established. My sendmail is also fully
connected and functional with the internet.

I guess this should give you a hint about my environemt.

Thank you,
Abid Ghufran.

I have installed the webmail setup on a RedHat linux machine. I am using
sendmail as MTA. I do not have LDAP,IMAP or User Database at the moment. I
just want to test the basic operation and function of webmail.

If you're using IMP 2.2, no. If you're using IMP 2.3 with Turba, not yet, but
it will be.

I am unclear on what this has to do with IMP?

I assume you're talking about IMP 2.3? As mentioned, there's a French
translation in progress. No one that I know of is working on a Dutch one, if
you'd like to do so, there are instructions in imp/po/README.

No, the problem is that you haven't configured your webserver correctly - it
should be reporting the correct name in the SERVER_NAME environment variable.

interesting thing is that $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SERVER_NAME'] is set to
mail.xyz.com (checked by phpinfo()), but it does not come through... somehow.
