Subject: remove Internet Messaging Program...

Here's a stupid question, can I remove the "Internet Messaging Program (IMP)..." 
header and footer from some of the screens?  I find it annoying while reading a 
message and looking at the mailbox listing but didn't see a preference to remove 
it...
