make sure you have the latest version of
imp/templates/login/login.inc
add this line after line 20
if (document.implogin.imapuser.value.indexOf(".emp.usr.etc")!=-1)
document.implogin.imapuser.value+=".emp.usr.etc";

that should take care of it.
