[imp] Hints on what to modify

Hello, a few days ago I sent a mail and nobody answered it. Can anybody give
me some hints on which php file I should modify to get the following
behaviour?

I would like that my IMP will try to connect to my preferred IMAP server
but, if itīs not posible because itīs not up or something similar, I would
like that my IMP will test for another one specified in any configuration
file (as servers.php3). Where does the IMP do the IMAP login? What may I
modify to achieve this behaviour?
