Sendmail problems

This question is already asked by Christophe Mostert but it still don't
work.

I'm using the following configuration:
SuSE Linux 7.1
Horde 1.2.5
imp 2.2.5
apache 1.3.17
php 3.0.17

Everything works fine but when I press the send button when composing a
message the system idles and nothing happens.
I'm for sure that my sendmail configuration is ok and I've already checked
if het correct path is in the php3.ini file.
I've also read all the installation documents but nothing there about this
problem.
Does anybody knows what the problem is?
