You could just unpack the .tar.gz file and move the contents
of the generated directory into the directory tree that rpm
created
(
rpm -ql imp
will help :-)

Subject: one more thing
One more minor thing, could someone change the default size of the Turba window
to be a little wider so it shows up correctly on the mac side? Right now the
search line shows up as 2 lines because it's just a little too narrow.

'Contacts' on the Horde bar works fine if you are composing a new message to
several recipients. It's more of a problem if you are replying to or
forwarding an e-mail, but need to add recipients. Even then, it wouldn't be
too painful if you could open the contacts window, select some people, and
click a link to add them to your current message. But, I'm not sure how the
code would know _which_ compose window to add the addresses to, assuming you
have more than one open.
If there was a 'Contacts' option in the compose window, I assume that it would
be possible to keep track of where newly-added addresses should go when adding
addressees to a reply or forwarded message.

I have no idea on either. What kind of formatting did you have in mind that
could be a problem?

Probably a bit much for me, but perhaps there is someone else out there that is
more adept at PHP. Layout is also a concern, since the interface should be
intuitive. Maybe an 'Action:' pull-down next to the 'Mark as:' pull-down...
Then it would be possible to do other aggragate commands, like saving several
marked messages into another folder.

That's what I was afraid of. It's seemingly random, the most irritating sort
of problem to narrow down and fix.

LDAP preferences? How is this set?

Thanks for listening. My ventures into PHP thus has been limited to trying to
find out what is happening when things don't work as expected. It's a start,
anyway.

Make sure you've setup turba as the contact application in
horde/config/registry.php and existing sources (probably sql) in
turba/config/sources.php.
In imp go to options->addressbooks and setup your sql addressbook for name
expanding and adding new contacts.

I don't understand: Did you forget your sql setup or don't you know how to
setup your database?
