IMP 2.2.5, problems with PHPLIB and shared memory?

Upgrading from IMP 2.0 to 2.2.5 is causing problems. I'm still hoping
someone on this list can help!
IMP 2.2.5
Horde 1.2.5
Solaris 7 (Intel)
Apache 1.3.20
PHP 4.05
Trying to use shared memory as the container, no database support at all.
Things work fine, except for login failures! If you have a bad username or
password, it appears to kill session management entirely!
The Horde "test.php3" script, at the point where you click the URL to test
session management, works fine until you have a bad login through IMP.
Also, there are three webmail installations on the same server, and they all
die simultaneously with a failed login.
Apache continues to serve up web pages normally, and PHP responds normally
as well. But the link within the "test.php3" page also stops responding.
So, either shared memory is causing trouble, or session management and
PHPLIB are somehow not working right?
I duplicated the entire installation on a test system, with a fresh Solaris
7 install and everything. Exact same problem!!!
I've considered switching from shared memory to MySQL for the container?
I've also considered trying to get the standard PHPLIB instead of the
Horde-specific PHPLIB. But I admit, I'm guessing here!
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Jon's suggestion (reduce error level; log errors to file) is the best.

This does not exist in 2.2.

You are aware that 2.2 is pretty much dead code at this point, right? 2.3 is
where all serious development is taking place; there will only be another 2.2
release if it's necessary for security reasons.

All better now, thanks! (Someone should include that in the base config file as
an example :) I accidently deleted the email from earlier that said how to get
the "Add to addressbook" back, so could someone repost that? I thought they said
it was in options, but I'm not seeing in there that relates to the addressbook.
I've heard really good comments so far from people about that feature, so I'd
like to turn it back on.
Is anyone updating an LDAP server through Turba? I thought the permissions were
setup on our openldap server, but it doesn't seem to make any changes there.
This looks like a great feature, a nice "Corporate Addressbook" that everyone can
update.
Thanks!
