Turba

I know that Turba was removed from the IMP menubar, but is there a way to
set that up as a an option. I have users who go directly to my imp dir, so
they never get the horde meunubar, so the contacts button on the imp
menubar is their only hope of getting to their contacts. I understand for
some people the contact button in the IMP menubar is not required. Also, I
have turna set up in registry.php and it works, except under options in
imp, I have to address book option. While reading through previous posts I
noticed "go to Options->addressbook" and I have no addressbook in my
options. Any help is appreciated.

That's not an argument for this link. I just changed registry.php.dist to use
descriptive names by default. You can make them be whatever you want.

> and I imagine that a decent number of sites will run IMP

This is a seperate issue. I think at some point we need to encourage people to
use the framework, because there's a lot to be gained from it, and we're not
going to get terribly far if we're always making exceptions for people who just
use IMP. If screen real-estate is an issue, I've been thinking of moving the
horde bar to the left side and making it vertical; we can also make the frame
resizable.

Basically, having the link there bugs me because it's completely redundant if
you've got the Horde menu there. I can see wanting something besides expand
names in the compose window, and I have an idea of what I want to do for that
(a Turba script which can talk back to a calling window through javascript
callbacks). Will that satisfy people, or are there tons of you who are dead set
against using the Horde framework?

To be honest, I'd really like to have less of these, _especially_ ones that
affect essential, core parts of the UI (like the menu).

Things look properly escaped to me. What evidence did you see of javascript

I guess I'm not opposed to using the framework, I just don't care for the menu at
the bottom since everything I need is in IMP (with the Contacts button being
there). I'm going to switch our URL to go back through Horde and try and for a
couple days and see what people say. As someone pointed out, I think not having
a link for "email", "contacts", etc. is confusing for new users since they don't
know what "imp", "turba" and "horde" are. I haven't looked, but can you easily
change the name of the links in the horde "menubar"?

So long as I can look up addresses from Turba and add them while in the compose
window, I am happy.
