Well, what do you mean by "can't login"? That could encompass a lot of things. 
Are you getting errors? What does your imap server log say (you were using the 
imap driver, right?) etc...

Hi,

I'm missing the attachment icon in the mailbox view. I don't know exactly when 
I saw it last.
I use the latest imap extension from php cvs.

Make sure you have the latest IMP (it was broken for a bit), and that you've 
set $conf['mailbox']['show_attachments'] to true (though this is a performance 
hit).

you must check your imap and your smtp. Hence you make a "telnet
localhost 25" for smtp and a "telnet localhost 143" for imap.
