The PHP-version in Debian-unstable is 4.0.5-2 if that gives you
any clue.

I'll try to build PHP from cvs (yes, following the INSTALL-
document) instead of playing on my own with old .deb's...

(now tell me I only have myself to blame, I deserve it! :))
