remote pop mail collection

intro:
I'm an imp user and administrator under e-smith 4.1.2, a server specific
distro based on RedHat7.1

issue:
There is a feature in other un-named webmail interfaces allowing a user to
configure remote collection of pop mail from another server. It's a very
handy feature - does it exist for imp? If not are there any plans to
implement it?
