single signon for IMP and Horde?

hi,

I sat down updating HORDE cvs, and my patches.
I read some time ago that Turba can use IMP to know about the user.

Can someone tell me how to do this?
Log on to IMP (not Horde)
and then be able to use Turba without further authentification.

It would be cool if I can do this without applying the old patch to
Auth.php
