Can't view MS Word doc using IE 4.0

Hi,

I can't view MS Word doc using IE4.0. But IE5.0 is ok.
When I click to view or download the docement, it display a error or wait 
for a long time.
Does anyone encounter this problem? Please advise what should I do.

I am using IMP 2.3.7 - cvs without inline any ms word.
