[imp] Authentication Problem: log appears to be muddled

I tried that already. The error message that is being logged to the php log
is:
[01-Aug-2001 18:34:15] PHP Warning: Retrying LOGIN authentication after
AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failed (errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0
If the maillog is accurate, it appears that the username is either getting
mangled or lost somewhere. On the advice of Chuck, I upgraded to the most
recent version of imap but that didn't fix it.

You should be able to get it to work with the vinfo hook in 2.3.

You should be able to find it in the phplib docs, web site, or list archives
somewhere.

It takes a _long_ time on large messages, and usually isn't needed.

/tmp isn't full, is it? What changed when it stopped working? That's the
question...

You need horde 1.3.3 and PEAR from php-4.0.7-cvs, and possibly php itself 4.0.5
or later. As for it being stable, it's not bad, but the current cvs is better.
