Japanese character support

Hello Marc,

IMP is a very nice Product. We currently 
using IMP 2.2.6, but our installation will 
not convert jap. characters properly.

I've checked your Mailing list Archive,
in order to find some Emails regarding 
Japanese characterset for IMP. I have found 
a lot. Now my question: 

How can I install Japanese char. support for IMP?
